March 2021....It's been a while.
Well here we are March 2021........A virus, three lock downs and a lot of stress later and we are still here (thankfully!!) and we are processing wood orders at the rate of a family of beavers on speed.
2020 saw the sawmill close the doors to the public, everyone bunkered down and orders were delivered everywhere, the emails came in day and night and the telephone rang all day long but luckily the daily grind carried on almost as normal except for food shopping which was something else entirely. Towards the end of the year there was a lot of talk about Christmas and how things would work selling our home grown tree's, well it was crazy socially distanced affair but still crazy, we over cut our quota of trees for the year and sold out entirely at least a week before Christmas. It was exhausting!!!! And now here we are, well into the new year and hopefully the end is in sight and things may hopefully get back to some kind of normality. We've been planting lots of new tree's of all varieties, we've got friends sheep in the field eating the grass and lot of projects lined up for the rest of the year.
